Guide to Choosing the right Bedding:

How to Choose the right Pillow:
How do you get your best rest?
Our product recommendations are based on your most comfortable sleeping positions. Proper neck support is important, so take a look and make your best selection.
  • Sleep on your sides or back? Wool Bed pillows of either Regular Fill or Extra Thick
  • Sleep on your stomach? Consider Wool Bed pillow- Light Fill
  • Need neck support? If you like to having your neck fully supported with a bolster try our Neck Roll, or our Orthopedic Neck Pillow. (FYI: the Orthopedic was actually developed in partnership with a chiropractor.)
  • Work or read a lot in bed? Consider either of these for propping up in bed:
  • Wool Bed Pillow- Extra Thick or the Wool Wrapped Latex.
You know yourself best.
  • If you like a thicker pillow: Wool Bed Pillow- Extra Thick or the Wool Wrapped Latex.
  • If you tend to favor a thinner pillow: Wool Bed Pillow-Light Fill or the adjustable Woolley “Down”.
  • Our most popular pillows are medium fill: The versatile Woolley “Down” pillow which can be adjusted to any thickness or choose the Wool Bed Pillow- Regular Fill
Let’s talk about pillow compression: Pillows made with only wool layers may settle 15-30% within the first few months of regular use until they conform to the weight of your head. This is normal and happens to to the best of pillows. Please take this into consideration for your initial purchase and find the thickness that is best for you. If you are concerned about compression or are not sure which pillow thickness is best for you we suggest ordering the Woolley “Down” pillow, which will not compress and the thickness is always adjustable.
How to Choose the right Comforter:
To choose the proper temperature weight in a comforter, consider the following:
  • What is your typical body temperature?
  • Do you find yourself to be generally cold or mostly hot?
  • Do you tend to get cold at night or overheat?
  • If you sleep with another person you will generate more heat than you would by yourself.
  • Assess the bedding you already have at home. Do you want to rely on your comforter by itself to keep you warm or will you be using it in combination with other blankets?
We offer multiple temperature weights in comforters:
Cool Comfort - Best suited for: a person who tends to run warm or hot in body temperature, a hot climate such as Florida or Southern California, or to be used in climates with mild winters where you can use this comforter in combination with other favorite blankets.

Perfect Comfort - Most people choose this comforter weight. This weight is fine for partner sleeping, can be used year round in most climates and is a great all-purpose comforter weight. You may want to add an extra blanket in the heart of winter if needed.

Extra Warmth - This temperature weight is best suited for those who tend to run cold or get chilled easily. Great for people who sleep by themselves and tend to like a lot of covers.

Additional Pointers:
  • If you have additional people in the bed it creates a warmer environment.
  • The location where you live, the direction your bedroom faces and the temperature you keep your room at night are all factors to consider.
  • You know yourself best, if you are leaning towards one more than the other, then go for the one you’re most drawn to.
  • If you are undecided, we recommend choosing the lighter weight. You can always add additional blankets, whereas a comforter that is too hot is more challenging to correct.
